I am looking for an EU lab to help develop a semi-custom water-based cosmetic ink for nail-art marker pens, based on your existing ink base rather than full R&D.
The project requires water-based cosmetic-safe ink for marker pen nibs, good flow, quick drying, non-clogging performance, high opacity especially for white, gold and silver, 6-8 colors for the initial launch, a small first batch of approximately 2-5 kg total, and ingredient data for UK CPSR.
Launch colors are white, black, gold, silver, red, pink, blue and green. The R&D budget is approximately GBP 1,500-2,500, we are ready to begin immediately, and the target launch timeline is 8-12 weeks.
Please let us know whether you have an existing water-based ink system suitable for cosmetic marker pens, whether you can adjust viscosity and flow for nib compatibility, estimated cost for base adjustments plus 6-8 colors and small batch, timeline for samples and production, and whether you can provide the ingredient documentation needed for UK CPSR.
