It describes the study conducted and preserves its limitations. It does not establish a single dossier format accepted in every market. ### Report content and source records Work can organise the protocol, participant and sample information, recorded assessments, analysis and supporting images. The report should distinguish planned procedures from deviations and identify the formula version and conditions to which the findings apply. ### Interpreting the findings Instrumental outcomes, assessor judgements and participant reports should remain identifiable. Conclusions need to follow the measured endpoints, with missing records and uncertainty visible. Photographs support interpretation within their capture and analysis conditions rather than serving as universal proof of efficacy. ### Handover and wider documentation Agree report versions, supporting files and access arrangements, including privacy responsibilities. A study report may contribute to a claims dossier, safety file or submission package, but preparing those broader records is a separate scope. Compiling a report cannot retrospectively make a study GLP-compliant or change how it was conducted. Applications ## Reporting a completed cosmetic study Provide the approved protocol, product identifiers, study records and analysis outputs available for review. The report should explain what was done and distinguish planned procedures from documented deviations. Missing information should remain visible rather than being reconstructed by assumption. Results, statistical interpretation and supporting image records need links to the underlying methods and source material. Standardised photography or other imaging can support a specific endpoint but is not universal visual proof of efficacy. A clinical report may contribute to a claims dossier or market-specific file. Preparing those wider files, translations or GLP documentation is separately scoped work, and report compilation cannot retrospectively make a study GLP-compliant or turn unsupported statements into valid claims.
